Hi, my name is Tiffany Corlew. This will be my fourth year teaching at Vineyard Christian Schools. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies (multi-subject teaching) from Cal State Northridge University. Before serving alongside the junior high staff I previously taught first grade for three years. It was such a blessing witnessing the leaps and bounds first graders made throughout each year. Although I greatly enjoyed my time teaching first grade, with a toddler at home and another baby on the way, I was looking for an opportunity that would allow me to spend more time with my family. I was so excited when I was approached about teaching Language Arts for junior high. This position allows me to continue to do what I love while at the same time giving me more precious moments with my little ones. It is a privilege to be apart of the VCS team and I am looking forward to what the 2016-2017 school year will bring.
My husband Jordan and I have been serving in Youth Ministry for the past 6 years at Desert Vineyard Fellowship. Youth Ministry has its difficulties as teenagers go through many changes and have many questions about their life and the world around them. However, it is exciting to walk with them through faith as they discover who they are, what kind of person they want to be, and the legacy they want to leave behind. We are constantly amazed to see how God works in the lives of these teens. I love our church family and can’t believe how blessed we are to serve alongside such a wonderful group of people.
